Summer Math Packet
Earn 2 Extra Credit Grades

The Summer Math Packet was developed to provide students from 6th through 8th grade an opportunity to reveiw grade level math objectives to improve math performance. 

One goal of the Desoto East Middle School is to promote increased math performance at all grade levels.  Completing the summer math packet allows each student, teacher and parent to work together to achieve this goal. 

All students that complete and return this packet in the fall will receive 2 extra credit grades to be used during the 1st and 2nd six weeks.

Desoto ISD Math Olympiad

Congratulations to our Math Olympiad Team and Coaches (Mrs. Frazier and Ms. Rose) for winning the Overall Middle School Award at the 1st Annual Desoto ISD Math Olympiad. Students particpated in a Number Sense Competition a 10-minute Mental Math Test and a Mathematics Competition a 30-minute multiple choice test.
